CSC331 - Database Management Systems

Course Information:

Objective:

To introduce the student to the three contemporary trends in database systems with emphasis on the relational model. The students will examine the theoretical background of the model and the basic concepts behind designing, modeling and implementing a database

Prerequisite:

CSC205 - Data Structures and Algorithms

Fundamentals of Database Systems, Elmarsi and Navathe, Addison-Wesley

Grading:

Participation/Assignments/Quizzes: 5%
